Finallyyy... I am posting the pics of my univ hahahah.... Quick facts about University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign: 1) Founded in 1867 2) Situated about 140 miles south of Chicago, 125 miles west of Indianapolis, and 180 miles northeast of St. Louis 3) The owner of Playboy graduated from this place.... so he donates every issue of Playboy to the University Library... and the great thing is... students can borrrow it hahahaha 4) Internet was developed on this campus. 5) Most of the people working in Microsoft graduated from here. (Maybe I will be one of them hahaha  ) 6) Ranked 4th for Engineering in US 7) Ranked in the Top Ten for most high tech university in US 8) Has the largest Frat and Sorrority system in US 9) 24 Noble Prize Winners 10) The University University is the largest public university collection in the world, housing more than nine million volumes, over six million manuscripts, periodicals, and other non-print materials, and more than 90,000 periodicals and journals. 11) Has the first agricultural experiment field in US = = (This place is sourrounded by cornnnn fieldd) Sooo here are some picturesss:

I will post some cool things here later (if I have time and not too lazy to post - -) some of cool things here: 1) Underground Library 2) Underground Cafeteria 3) VDO wall... where the wall are all TV 4) Indoor soccer stadium - - 5) Ice skating arena 6) Elevator.. that use heat detector to detect signal... eg. you can use ur breath instead of using ur finger to press the buttons.. Oh noo... I already had 2 midterm exams T.T and shit load of worrkkkkk >< PS. Ning and pla after u see the picture... is UBC still nicer than thiss place ??? |
